Aun, based in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture (Representative: Shoko Shirogo), has fully renovated and freely published all 12 self-dialogue works themed 'Returning to Myself Without Comparing to Others'.
This work has been reconstructed based on the content previously offered in paid sessions, emphasizing the importance of confronting oneself through 'questions' rather than providing 'answers'.
According to the 'National Survey on the Reality of Loneliness and Isolation' (Reiwa 6) published by the Cabinet Office, about 40% of respondents reported feeling lonely.
In modern society overflowing with SNS and information, we tend to seek someone else's answer or solution when we have worries.
However, we believe that the time to listen to our own voice will become increasingly important in the future.
With this in mind, we have this time freely published all 12 self-dialogue works so that anyone can read them.
12 Self-Dialogue Works Freely Published
Background
With the spread of SNS, we live in an environment where it is easy to compare ourselves with others in our daily lives.
'I should try harder.'
'I should increase my self-affirmation.'
Such thoughts often drive ourselves into a corner.
When our hearts are in pain, we try to find someone else's answer or solution.
But isn't what we really need the time to listen to our own heart's voice?
Representative Shirogo herself has experienced reading many books and seeking the words of many people.
But it was not when I received an answer from someone that my heart felt lighter.
When I asked myself, 'Is that really so?', I realized the prejudices that had been tormenting me and gradually began to remember my true self.
From this experience was born the self-dialogue work centered on the question, 'Is that really so?'.
This work is not just for those with deep worries.
For example,
- Parents who tend to be strict with their children
- Those who regret using harsh words with subordinates or juniors
- Those who are troubled in their relationship with their partner or family
- Those who get tired of comparing themselves with others
- Those who have a habit of blaming themselves
- Those who can't stop thinking 'I have to try harder'
- Those who seem to be doing well but are not fully satisfied
- Those who want to live authentically even if they don't have any big worries
We want to provide such people with the time to quietly confront themselves.
Aiming for a society where everyone can have the time to confront themselves regardless of whether they have worries or not, we have this time freely published all 12 works.
Content of the Work
The published self-dialogue work consists of 12 volumes.
The theme is,
'Returning to Myself Without Comparing to Others'
Through questions such as 'Am I really thinking that?' and 'Is that thought a fact?', we deepen the dialogue with ourselves.
A characteristic of this work is that it does not present an answer like 'If you do this, you will be happy'.
We value the process of readers receiving the question, confronting their own hearts, and finding their own answer.
No specialized knowledge or special preparation is required.
The structure allows you to proceed at your own pace from the 0th door (preparation work) to the 12th door, and you can read everything for free.
Features of This Initiative
The biggest feature of this initiative is that it 'delivers questions' rather than 'teaching answers'.
While many self-help contents present solutions or ways of thinking,
this work provides time to re-examine one's own prejudices and values through the simple question 'Is that really so?'.
This is a self-dialogue type program that values the process of realizing the answer within oneself rather than receiving an answer from someone else.
Furthermore, this work was born from living surrounded by nature in Hoshino Village, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The importance of the time to confront oneself was realized in the changing seasons and quiet environment, which became the foundation of this work.
In the future, in addition to article dissemination, we will develop activities to spread the culture of 'self-dialogue' through lectures, workshops, dialogue sessions, and retreats.
Voices of Pre-Work Participants
From pre-work participants, with their permission to publish, we have received voices that have realized changes in their daily way of seeing things and their relationship with others.
- 'I no longer hit my child'
- 'I no longer care about the person I used to dislike'
- 'I am told that my expression has become softer'
- 'I realized that I can now breathe deeply'
*Note: These are individual opinions, and feelings and changes may vary from person to person.

Representative Comment
I have been active with the idea of increasing the number of people who can find answers for themselves rather than teaching answers.
When we are in pain, we want to find someone else's correct answer.
I myself have read many books and sought the words of many people.
But it was not when I received an answer from someone that my heart truly changed.
When I asked myself, 'Is that really so?', I realized the prejudices that had been tormenting me, and my heart gradually became lighter.
This question is not to deny someone else or to blame oneself.
It is a small but important question to remember one's true self and find an answer that is true to oneself.
If, through this work, the time to ask oneself 'Is that really so?' increases, then alone, this free publication has great meaning.
I am happy if this work becomes, for as many people as possible, a time to gently confront oneself and a trigger to live authentically.

Future Prospects
Along with the publication of this work, we will conduct the 'Is That Really So? Heart's Voice Survey'.
We will widely solicit voices not only about comparing oneself with others or blaming oneself but also about what one feels every day and the prejudices within oneself.
The voices received will be utilized to enrich future self-dialogue works, lectures, and workshops, and, if necessary, the survey results will be published and utilized as materials to consider mental issues in modern society.
In addition to online dissemination, we will also engage in creating spaces where people can talk to each other with ease, such as dialogue sessions and retreats that make use of the nature of Hoshino Village, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
We tend to seek someone else's answer when we are in pain.
But life cannot be lived with someone else's answer.
Therefore, I hope that the question 'Is that really so?' will be a gentle trigger for each and every person to remember their true self.
If the number of people who can dialogue with themselves increases, we can become kinder to ourselves and to others.
We aim for such a society.
