Nagomi no Komeya, headquartered in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, began in Meiji 32 by creating what is said to be Japan's first chestnut yokan, selling it as a souvenir for visitors to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. Today, we offer a variety of seasonal Japanese sweets, including yokan, dorayaki, and daifuku, and are loved by locals and visitors to Chiba Prefecture. Among them, "P-Nuts Monaka", released in commemoration of Chiba Prefecture's specialty peanuts, is widely used as a representative famous confection of Chiba Prefecture.
