Nanba Farm (Representative: Shoji Nanba), a peach farm with over 60 years of history in the Tamashima district of Kurashiki, Okayama, has launched a new white peach project on the crowdfunding platform 'CAMPFIRE'. This project aims to deliver seasonal white peaches, including the premium 'Shimizu Hakuto' variety, across Japan while promoting 'regional circular agriculture'. By partnering with local company National Spring, they are utilizing olive pomace—a byproduct of olive oil production—as fertilizer for their peach orchards. The project has a target of 500,000 yen and is currently aiming for a stretch goal of 1 million yen. Representative Nanba, a former banker, is actively engaged in the sixth-sector industrialization of agriculture with a strong management perspective.
