We support the 'April Dream' initiative, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. Our dream at Yohtera Yohtera Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yuka Kobayashi) is to become a company that conveys the culture and charm of various regions in Japan to people around the world through film and video production. This press release describes the first step toward that dream. [Image: Kuma Shochu Appreciation Story_Kumamoto Edition (Scheduled for release in Spring 2026)] A New Form of Regional PR: We produce content for local governments and traditional industries that effectively communicates their appeal, accompanying them with three approaches: 1. World-class video quality: Using documentary and film perspectives to capture daily life as 'extraordinary beauty,' depicting the essential Japanese culture sought by overseas viewers. 2. Story-driven branding: Focusing on the background (story) of why things are made here and the passion involved, creating brand fans. 3. Collaboration with global partnerships: Partnering with consultants who have an overseas marketing perspective to provide strategies ranging from video production to SNS dissemination and overseas expansion (including Cannes, France). Project Overview: Depicting Kuma Shochu through 'Travel Drama'. As the first step, we conducted a promotional project to convey the charm of Kuma Shochu, a traditional distilled spirit from Kumamoto Prefecture, to domestic and international audiences. This work adopts the 'Cinematic Branding' method, depicting the climate and history rooted in the land as a single story, rather than just a product introduction. We are launching full-scale regional PR support to elevate local specialties and tourism resources into 'cultural assets' that can compete in the global market. In this project, we produced a 'travel drama' that touches on the charm of the Hitoyoshi-Kuma region through travel, set against the backdrop of its beautiful scenery and the pride of the makers of Kuma Shochu, which has a 500-year history. By utilizing the beauty and storytelling cultivated in film production, we have created content that appeals to the sensibilities of viewers beyond language barriers and stimulates the desire to visit the local area. We want to use the power of video to visualize the brilliance unique to each land and connect it to the next generation and the world.' Moving forward, Yohtera Yohtera will further strengthen branding for local specialties (liquor, crafts, etc.) and PR support for local governments targeting inbound tourism.
