Ac-Planta (HQ: Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama; CEO: Jong-Myung Kim) spent time in Uganda from mid-April to mid-May 2026, appearing on three local radio programs and one television program. CEO Jong-Myung Kim explained the benefits of the agricultural product 'Skeepon,' which enhances plant resistance to heat and drought stress, and introduced its upcoming launch at the 'National Agricultural Show' to be held in Jinja, Uganda, this July.

He appeared on three radio stations, including BABA FM. One of them, KRC FM, serves as a platform for farmers under the slogan 'the farmers voice.' CEO Kim also appeared on a local TV program, explaining the efficacy and cultivation application methods of Skeepon.

Detailed Introduction of Skeepon on BABA FM

On BABA FM, CEO Kim explained the background and mechanism of Skeepon's development.

CEO Kim introduced that Skeepon was developed to protect crops from extreme heat and drought. As the culmination of 20 years of research, he explained that it is a technology that elicits the functions plants naturally possess to adapt to heat and dryness.

He also stated, 'It is a technology aimed at supporting crop growth with less water even when temperatures exceed 45°C,' emphasizing its potential to contribute to stabilizing production in the country, where heat and drought are becoming more severe.

Toward the July Agricultural Event

Furthermore, the company plans to launch Skeepon at the 'National Agricultural Show' held in Jinja, Uganda, in July. In the program, CEO Kim called on Ugandan farmers, saying, 'Please come to the Jinja Show.'

Comment from CEO Jong-Myung Kim

'Being able to introduce Skeepon through radio and television to those involved in Ugandan agriculture as a technology that draws out the environmental stress adaptation capabilities inherent in plants has been a very meaningful opportunity. Moving forward, we will continue to utilize various opportunities to convey our technology and contribute to the stabilization of agricultural production in Uganda by collaborating with local farmers, research institutions, and administrative bodies.'
