ASICS Walking "PEDALA" Series Releases Reissue Models of "PEDALA Travel Shoes" Supporting Comfortable Journeys

Asics Trading Co., Ltd. is sequentially releasing two reissue models of "PEDALA Travel Shoes" from the ASICS Walking "PEDALA" series starting May 1st (Friday) at the ASICS Walking online store, ASICS Walking directly managed stores, and some department stores.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price for both is 24,200 yen (tax included).

These products are reissue models of the "PEDALA Travel Shoes" that were first launched in 2019 and received strong support from many customers. While focusing on lightweight design for easy portability to travel destinations (single shoe weight: approximately 185g/23.0cm), they feature a soft upper material for a gentle feel on the foot. Additionally, the sole is equipped with a "Groove Change" structure that supports a series of walking movements from landing to push-off, extending from the heel to the front. This smoothly shifts the center of gravity, reduces foot wobble during walking, and supports stable walking during travel.

They are available in a lace-up type that easily matches neat styles and a slip-on type with an accentuating toe cap design.

For this re-release, with the desire to deliver the world view of this product to more customers, the catchphrase "MOMENT OF JOURNEY" has been adopted. The inner sole features a richly colored watercolor painting touch designed with images of scenery encountered during travels.
