A participatory photo book filled with the love of Shiba Inu owners nationwide has arrived! Due to overwhelming popularity, official recruitment for the second edition has been decided earlier than expected.

Due to great popularity, we are now recruiting dogs for 'Shiba Inu 2nd Edition'!

Recruitment for the 2nd edition begins. First-come, first-served for 20 dogs!

In response to the significant response to the first edition, we have begun production of 'Shiba Inu vol.002' and official recruitment of photos for inclusion.

Recruitment Slots: Limited to the first 20 dogs (applications will close once the quota is reached)

Participation Fee: Free (0 yen)

Application Conditions:

Must be your own pet dog (or a store's mascot dog). The dog's photo must be published. Must have at least one SNS account (public account). Must have the characteristics of a Shiba Inu or Mameshiba (mixed breed dogs are also OK!). *Applications with photos of beloved dogs who have passed away are also welcome.

Easy 3-Step Application

1. Choose Photos: Select up to 8 of your favorite photos taken with your smartphone. 2. Submit Form: Send the required information via the Reiwa Publishing application form (*Requires a Gmail account). 3. Check Official SNS: Publication announcements and award notifications will be made via the official Instagram account.

What is the "Dog Breed Photo Book" Publishing Project?

This is a participatory publishing project planned and operated by "Reiwa Publishing," where a single book is created together with owners nationwide. The series focuses on specific dog breeds such as Shiba Inu, Chihuahua, and Pug, creating photo books packed with the charm of each breed.

A major feature is that participation is possible with "photos of everyday life filled with love" taken by family members on their smartphones, without the need for professional equipment. The published books (paperback edition) are permanently stored in the National Diet Library, drawing attention as an official project that can preserve the legacy of a beloved dog for the future.
