~ Record of a nursing care corporation that immediately decided to hire 30 additional staff after 16 staff members entered Japan and were assigned en masse, with zero resignations or disappearances. ~

A Christmas event at a certain nursing care facility, December 2025.

Two Bangladeshi staff members, recently assigned. Their Japanese was not yet perfect. Their culture was also different. But when asked, "Would you like to participate?" they immediately replied with a beaming "Yes!" When the event began, the two of them brightly enlivened the entire venue with their natural cheerfulness. The language barrier was nowhere to be found. By the end of the event, the residents and staff alike had significantly grown closer. The home director said, "This wonderful hospitality is the new driving force for our team."

Their communication skills and hospitality are wonderful! They themselves are enjoying their work!

Japan's nursing care industry continues to face a severe labor shortage. It is estimated that approximately 320,000 nursing care personnel will be short by 2025, and about 690,000 by 2040. While more facilities are attempting to hire foreign personnel, many managers are hesitant to take the plunge due to concerns about "language barriers," "cultural differences," and "whether they will stay."

Adsecc Co., Ltd. (GHRS Division) has released a case study that directly broke through these barriers.

As Partners Co., Ltd. Introduction Results

- 16 people entered and assigned en masse - 30 people immediately decided for additional hiring (approx. double) - 0 people resigned/disappeared (after assignment)

### Full Interview on Case Study

* The following is based on an interview with As Partners Co., Ltd.

#### Moving Episodes

Q Please tell us about any memorable episodes regarding interaction with residents.

A The two staff members, although recently assigned, readily agreed with beaming smiles when asked to participate in the Christmas event. On the day, they brightly enlivened the entire venue with their natural cheerfulness, showing no sign of a language barrier. By the end of the event, the initial tension had vanished, and everyone's relationship had significantly deepened. This wonderful hospitality is the new driving force for our team.

#### Pre-Hiring Concerns and Deciding Factors

Q What challenges or concerns did you have regarding conventional foreign personnel recruitment?

A We were concerned about how to balance "multicultural coexistence" and "maintaining high-quality care," as well as "securing housing" and "whether they could adapt to life in Japan."

Q Among the many countries and dispatching organizations, what was the "deciding factor" for choosing Adsecc and Bangladeshi personnel?

A The "pro-Japanese sentiment," "hospitality (culture of respecting the elderly)," and "diligence and industriousness" of the Bangladeshi people were the deciding factors. Furthermore, Adsecc's "flexible approach to education" and strong local network were the unique and decisive factors.

#### Reactions and Growth After On-Site Assignment

Q What was the initial reaction of the on-site staff when the 16 members entered and were assigned en masse?

A Initially, there were concerns that communication might be difficult due to language and cultural barriers, but their "smiles," "sincerity," and "earnestness" changed the atmosphere on site.

Q Three months after their assignment, how are their Japanese communication skills and eagerness to learn?

A Their diligence stands out; they always take notes when receiving instructions and try to overcome unfamiliar words by self-studying on the spot. Even when their language was not perfect, they used smiles and polite behavior to deepen their connection with residents. We feel that their fundamental "respect for others" covers any language handicap with their human nature.

They are responding gently and politely.

#### Adaptation to Nursing Care DX

Q How adaptable are they to your company's strength, "Nursing Care DX (EGAO link®, etc.)"?

A Their generation consists of digital natives, with no aversion to digital devices at all. Their learning speed for intuitive systems like "EGAO link®" is extremely fast, and the efficiency gained in input operations is creating a positive cycle that further deepens communication with residents.

They are actively learning from senior staff.

#### Decision for Additional Hiring and Support System

Q Please tell us the reason for immediately deciding on "approximately double additional hiring" for the next fiscal year.
