Taiwanese Brand IWI Launches 'Handscript Artist Edition' Fountain Pens Featuring Brass and Dyed Wood Barrels

Taiwanese stationery brand IWI has announced the release of its 'Handscript Artist Edition' fountain pen collection. The series emphasizes artistic design by combining brass components with hand-polished colored wood barrels, resulting in a texture inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics.

The collection features four colorways: 'Rokusho' (Verdigris), reflecting traditional wabi-sabi aesthetics; 'Sunlight Drop,' inspired by warm light; 'Calm Blue,' evoking a serene sea surface; and 'Crimson Camellia,' representing elegance and passion.

Technical specifications include a German-made Bock gold-plated stainless steel nib (EF size) and a dual-filling system compatible with both cartridges and converters. The pen measures 124mm in length and 10.6mm in diameter. Each unit is priced at 10,000 JPY (excluding tax) and comes with a special package including a 5ml bottle of black ink and a converter.
