XSERVER Inc. Receives Letter of Appreciation as a "Privacy Mark® System Contributing Company"

XSERVER Inc. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Naoki Kobayashi) recently received a letter of appreciation from the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC) as a "Privacy Mark® System Contributing Company." This award is given to businesses that have contributed to the promotion of the Privacy Mark system over many years.

Our Initiatives for Personal Information Protection

As a company providing internet infrastructure services, we consider the appropriate handling of personal information to be a crucial responsibility, and we are committed to developing and continuously operating an organizational and ongoing management system.

As part of these efforts, since receiving the initial Privacy Mark certification in November 2013, we have continuously renewed it and strived to maintain and improve our personal information protection management system.

We recognize that this letter of appreciation is an evaluation of the accumulation of these efforts.

What is the "Privacy Mark® System"?

It is a system that evaluates businesses and other organizations that comply with the Japanese Industrial Standard "JIS Q 15001 Personal Information Protection Management System – Requirements" and have established a system for implementing appropriate protective measures for personal information, and authorizes them to use the "Privacy Mark" as proof.

Moving forward, we will continue to work on further enhancing and continuously improving our personal information protection management system to provide an environment where customers can use our services with peace of mind.
