Orion Corporation (headquartered in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto) has announced the launch of its 3D Resin Mold Experience Tour on Friday, July 3. Responding to strong feedback from past seminars, this year's event will be held in two sessions—morning and afternoon. For the first time, participants are invited to submit their own 3D data, which will be injection-molded live during the seminar.

This is a rare opportunity to experience injection-molded parts created using 3D-printed molds—for free.

Registration and inquiries via the dedicated website.

◇ Highlights of the Day

We will demonstrate the entire process—from mold creation to injection molding—within the seminar timeframe. Normally, injection molds take several months to produce, and even simplified molds require over three weeks. This time, we will attempt to mold parts from 3D data submitted in advance by participants. This is currently the only chance to try Digital Mold® for free. Additionally, we will provide practical insights into design decision-making, planning, optimization of lead time and cost, and talent development tips—directly applicable to real-world manufacturing.
