Open Road LLC (Headquarters: Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture; Representative Employee: Tatsuo Ogawa) launched the new service 'mei-sis' in April 2026, where [business card orders lead to support for community cafeterias].
As of April 26, 2026, 165 meals have been delivered through business card orders, and a circle of support is beginning to spread within the community.
The second 'mei-sis Chiiki Shokudo' event for corporations is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 27, at Takasa Co., Ltd. Headquarters Building.
We are challenging a new worldview as a place where children, adults, and corporations naturally connect.
What is mei-sis?
[Business card orders support children's cafeterias]
mei-sis is a service where a portion of the production and printing costs of business cards goes to support children's cafeterias and community cafeterias held in Ichihara City.
For every bundle of business cards ordered, one meal is supported for children's cafeterias and community cafeterias.
Service Features
[Adding value to 'ordinary consumption']
Business cards are a tool everyone needs. By adding the value of 'helping someone' to this consumption behavior, we achieve sustainable and effortless support.
[A mechanism that circulates within the community]
mei-sis's community cafeterias not only serve as a place for local people but also aim to circulate the local economy as a 'corporate version of community cafeterias.'
By allocating a portion of mei-sis business sales to the cafeteria's operating expenses, we have created a sustainable and manageable operating mechanism.
Furthermore, ingredients used in the cafeterias are purchased from farmers in Ichihara City as much as possible.
We aim to expand a 'visible economy' within the community through 'purchase' rather than 'donation,' and a worldview where volunteering and business coexist.
In addition, on the day of the cafeteria event, local companies and organizations set up booths, naturally connecting local people with businesses and providing an opportunity for businesses' technologies to be known to the local community.

About the 1st Community Cafeteria
On March 25, the first pre-opening community cafeteria was held utilizing the headquarters space of Takasa Co., Ltd., a local company.
At the venue, an original kamishibai (picture-story show) was also performed by Kominato Railway Co., Ltd., another local company.
Students from the private after-school care 'Minato Kids School' also participated as volunteers, happily helping with serving and cleaning up.
'mei-sis Chiiki Shokudo' 2nd Event
The second event will involve even more local companies and organizations, offering various workshops.
At the various experience booths, learning and experiences that adults, children, and seniors can enjoy together will be provided.
We aim for a world where generations and people with disabilities can connect more naturally, such as adults and children enjoying kamishibai together, children teaching games to seniors, and everyone experiencing nursing spoons together.
