Kanie JAPAN Secures Naming Rights for Nagoya Higashi Library

Launch of New Library Name

Kanie JAPAN Co., Ltd. has concluded a naming rights agreement with the City of Nagoya for the Nagoya Higashi Library. Since April 1, 2026, the library has been operating under the name 'Nagoya Higashi Library supported by Kanie JAPAN.' To commemorate this, an unveiling ceremony was held at the library on May 16, 2026.

The fees generated from these naming rights will be used as operational funding for library services throughout the City of Nagoya.

Background of Acquisition

Kanie JAPAN operates in energy supply and residential equipment maintenance, guided by the mission of pursuing safety, security, and comfort for customers. The company decided to apply for the naming rights, believing that combining the 'infrastructure of safety' it provides with the 'infrastructure of knowledge' offered by the library contributes to a better regional society.

Unveiling Ceremony

On the morning of May 16, 2026, a ceremony featuring an unveiling of the new signage and a ribbon-cutting was held at the entrance of the Nagoya Higashi Library, attended by relevant officials.
