Shibuya Future Design and Kabaya Foods Co., Ltd. are participating in Shibuya City's heat countermeasures as part of the 'Good Sweat, Shibuya. Action' project. This project positively frames the sweat shed for oneself, others, and the city, supporting wellness, community building, and heat mitigation. As summer approaches, the initiative aims to create an environment where visitors, workers, and residents can spend the summer safely. Starting June 1, 2026, Kabaya Foods' 'Salt Charge Tablets' will be installed at the Shibuya City Office and 29 other cool-share spots and cooling shelters. Cool-share spots encourage sharing cool spaces to reduce energy consumption, while cooling shelters serve as emergency refuges during heatstroke alerts. Shibuya City expects this partnership to enhance the value of its heatstroke prevention efforts by providing essential mineral replenishment alongside cooling spaces. Kabaya Foods hopes to deepen public understanding of the importance of 'hydration + mineral replenishment' through this initiative.
