The "WSP (World Student Pitch) Global Final 2026" was held on Saturday, April 29, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight East Exhibition Halls 4, 5, and 6.

This marked WSP's (World Student Pitch) inaugural global competition, bringing together representative teams from five countries who had triumphed in their respective national qualifiers to pitch for the 3 million JPY Grand Prix. WSP is a student pitch contest held in various countries worldwide, and the 2026 edition saw approximately 100 teams apply to the regional qualifiers. Tokyo hosted this first global event to determine the ultimate winner.

Following judging, Pili AdheSeal (representing the Philippines / Mapúa University) was selected as the Grand Prix winner and awarded 3 million JPY.

Pili AdheSeal Inc. is a green technology company that develops environmentally friendly bio-based adhesives and sealants by utilizing pili resin waste from the Philippines. To address the toxicity and waste problems of conventional products, they are developing products with high adhesion, ultra-fast curing, non-toxicity, and high heat resistance for a wide range of industries including construction, aviation, and defense.

About WSP and What's Next

Following Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore, WSP has expanded its qualifiers to various parts of the world, including the Philippines, Australia, Italy, and Nigeria. Building on this global competition held in Tokyo in 2026, WSP plans to further expand into India, South Korea, the USA, and various European countries, continuing to develop as a platform for student entrepreneurs worldwide to take on challenges.
