It has been announced that Yuji Nakata will launch his planetarium live tour 'LIVE in the DARK tour 2026' after approximately two years. The tour will visit two venues: Konica Minolta Planetarium Tenku in Tokyo on Thursday, October 15, and Bandai Kobe Youth Science Museum in Kobe on Saturday, October 17. The event will feature special setlists tailored to the planetarium setting, with support from Yuta Shikei (Vc.) and sugarbeans (Key.).

Announcement: 'LIVE in the DARK tour 2026' to Tour Tokyo and Kobe!

Yuji Nakata, acclaimed both within and beyond the music industry for his exceptional songwriting and vocal artistry that masterfully expresses his unique world in both original and cover songs.

This tour, returning after about two years, will take place at two venues: Konica Minolta Planetarium Tenku (Tokyo) and Bandai Kobe Youth Science Museum Dome Theater (Kobe).

Supporting the performance are Yuta Shikei (Vc.) and sugarbeans (Key.), trusted collaborators in planetarium concerts. They will deliver a special setlist arranged specifically for the planetarium environment.

●Yuji Nakata (Nakada Yuji) Profile●

Born in 1981 in Kumamoto Prefecture.

In 2000, he formed the rock band 'Tsubakiya Quartet,' launching his music career as frontman and sole songwriter. He gained popularity with songs like 'Ajisai,' 'Koiwazurai,' and 'Ibara no Michi,' known for their expansive sound and individuality beyond typical rock band boundaries.

Immediately after the band's disbandment in 2011, he began his solo career. He has consistently released original works and conducted nationwide tours, performed solo acoustic tours such as 'Yuji Nakata's Yōu Romangaidō,' where he selects setlists on the spot from a wide repertoire of originals and covers, released the cover album 'SONG COMPOSITE,' and actively provided songs and sound production for other artists.
