Sakeness Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mitaka City, Tokyo, Representative Director: Katsumi Nakamura) is pleased to announce that the number of official partner companies for "SAKEMARK," a project that promotes labels from sake breweries and manufacturers nationwide by turning them into can badges, exceeded 200 companies nationwide in July 2026.

To commemorate this milestone, SAKEMARK will accelerate its art-focused promotion of Japanese sake and Japanese culture both domestically and internationally by fully developing two main product lines: "SAKE Can Badges," which allow collectors to gather brands from official partner breweries, and "JapanArtTile," a unique product that incorporates the aesthetics of Japanese art into interior design.

1. "SAKE Can Badges" Exceeds 200 Official Partnerships. SAKEMARK was launched not as a "sales strategy," but with the aim of supporting the entire industry by conveying the diverse and wonderful designs of labels as "culture." The project transcends genres, including Japanese sake, shochu, awamori, Japanese wine, and craft beer, and currently has the official participation of 200 breweries nationwide.

There is no cost burden for the producers to participate (zero initial costs or production fees). High-quality "SAKE Can Badges" are produced from the label data provided. They are primarily sold on SAKEMARK's own website, at the direct sales stores of participating breweries, and at various event venues.

In this project, not only is 10% of the can badge sales revenue returned to the participating breweries and manufacturers, but an additional 10% continues to be allocated to support breweries affected by disasters.

2. "JapanArtTile" Reflects the Aesthetics of Japanese Art in Spaces. The main product line developed by SAKEMARK alongside "SAKE Can Badges" is the unique product "JapanArtTile."

We have elevated the "Japanese aesthetic" and graphic sophistication of Japanese paintings into interior art (tiles) that adorn spaces. Unlike easily wearable can badges, this is a high-value art product that deeply integrates into lifestyles, proposing "new Japanese charm" to Japanese culture fans and collectors both domestically and internationally.

Comment from Representative Nakamura

"SAKE labels in Japan are 'label art' that the world can be proud of, with each stroke carrying the maker's passion and local history. I am extremely proud to share the same vision with such a wonderful 200 creators. Moving forward, with our two main lines, 'SAKE Can Badges' and 'JapanArtTile,' we aim to deliver Japanese culture to the world in a more emotional and sophisticated manner."
