Sigma Logistics and Sigma Vending Service Hold 'All Office Heads Safety Meeting' to Strengthen Safety Management System

Sigma Logistics Co., Ltd. and Sigma Vending Service Co., Ltd., providers of comprehensive logistics services primarily for beverages, are committed to eradicating accidents involving vehicles and forklifts under a safety-first policy. Since 2013, they have held an 'All Office Heads Safety Meeting' twice a year with about 200 participants, including heads of all locations. The theme for the 26th meeting was 'Complete implementation of pointing and calling, call-out driving, and prevention of accidents with fixed obstacles.' The meeting featured active group discussions to share initiatives and formulate further improvement plans, which are then implemented at each location in a continuous PDCA cycle. A safety lecture on 'Preventing Accidents with Fixed Obstacles' was given by a senior consultant from MS & AD InterRisk Research & Consulting, Inc. These meetings, held for 13 years, have contributed to a more than 75% reduction in accidents. The companies have dedicated risk management departments and safety promoters at each site, operating under the slogan 'Safety is the top priority in everything.'
