Overview:
Cisco Cloud Control is an integrated platform built for humans and AI agents to collaboratively operate critical IT infrastructure. This platform integrates Cisco's various offerings and advances Cisco's 'AgenticOps' (operations by agents) vision. Customers can build proprietary applications and agents using natural language, as well as extend functionality to third-party tools.
With the proliferation of AI, the window from vulnerability discovery to exploitation has shortened from weeks to minutes. In response, Cisco announced several security innovations. These include expanded coverage for Live Protect, which protects more Cisco products from new vulnerabilities in runtime environments, providing protection without reboots, upgrades, or downtime.
New Cisco IQ features assist in building long-term resilience against future threats. Resilient Infrastructure Services provide support for risks associated with frontier models, while newly offered Quantum Ready Assessments identify assets most vulnerable to 'harvest now, decrypt later' attacks and prioritize countermeasures.
Las Vegas — Cisco Live US — In the era of agentic AI, organizations must defend at machine speed and scale. Announced at Cisco Live, Cisco Cloud Control is an integrated platform built for humans and AI agents to collectively manage, monitor, and defend critical infrastructure, serving as the foundation for Cisco's AgenticOps operating model.
Cisco Cloud Control provides integrated visibility across Cisco's networking, security, computing, observability, and collaboration environments within a single secure interface via a single login. Humans and agents work on the same data layer, sharing the same operational context and action systems, while humans maintain control. Within the platform, customers can use natural language to build proprietary applications and agents, and connect to an extensive ecosystem including AWS, Linear, ServiceNow, and Slack.
Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer at Cisco, stated:
'AI agents reason and act continuously at the speed of software. This fundamentally changes how we scale, manage, and defend critical infrastructure. Cisco Cloud Control is the command center for agentic AI—a platform where teams and AI agents collaborate in the same environment sharing the same information, with humans retaining the final decision-making authority.'
A Single Platform for Humans and Agents to Run an Agentic Enterprise
Cisco Cloud Control is a single management plane that aggregates all customer assets into one environment. It provides holistic visibility with a single login, transforming critical infrastructure operations. Key features include:
Cross-domain Telemetry: Rich data spanning networking, security, observability, and collaboration is aggregated in Cloud Control. This enables humans and agents to act on important business requirements—such as observability, agent behavior, and token economics—based on the same information.
Purpose-built Models: Cloud Control combines purpose-built models, including the Cisco Deep Network Model—trained on 40 years of Cisco operational network data—with state-of-the-art models to reason through complex problems. This results in scalable system intelligence that adapts to the complexity of the problem, rather than relying solely on model scale.
Trusted Agents: In Cisco Cloud Control, operators collaborate with autonomous agents to execute structured processes from signal to action—including problem detection, root cause identification, fix execution, pre-validation of changes, and verification of user experience recovery. Powered by Cisco telemetry and purpose-built models, this includes features such as Expanded Experience Metrics and Deep Reasoning.
