Silicon Studio Appoints Noriyuki Sawatani, CEO of AEROSALVA, as Advisor

Silicon Studio Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichiro Kajitani; TSE Standard: Securities Code 3907; hereinafter "the Company"), a company engaged in digital content-related businesses across various industries including entertainment, automotive, film, and architecture, announces that Noriyuki Sawatani, Representative Director of AEROSALVA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato, Tokyo; hereinafter "AEROSALVA"), has been appointed as an advisor to the Company.

To date, the Company has provided solutions in public and industrial sectors—including defense, disaster prevention, and crisis management—by building and utilizing digital twins based on real-time 3DCG technology. These solutions include simulation, AI training and validation, education and training, equipment management, and situation visualization.

Mr. Sawatani, who has now been appointed as advisor, served for over 30 years in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force as an aircrew member on P-3C and P-1 maritime patrol aircraft, carrying out missions such as maritime surveillance, disaster relief deployment, and maritime rescue operations. After retirement, he gained practical experience in the space and information communications fields and founded AEROSALVA in 2026. He possesses extensive knowledge and a broad network in the public sector.

At AEROSALVA, the company is advancing the development of the next-generation search and rescue system "AEROSALVA SAR SYSTEM," which integrates AI, XR, autonomous operation, multi-sensors, and LEO satellite communication to enhance search and rescue operations. The company holds patents related to the core technologies supporting this system, and the combined technologies—including AI-based information analysis, drone operations, remote support, and communication infrastructure—are expected to be applicable to various social challenges.

These technologies are not limited to search and rescue; they are also expected to be deployed in disaster response, social infrastructure maintenance, marine and space fields, and remote operations in hazardous areas. They exhibit high compatibility with the Company’s digital twin-based solutions.

Silicon Studio will combine Mr. Sawatani’s expertise and AEROSALVA’s advanced technologies with its own real-time 3DCG and digital twin solutions to further strengthen its business for government and public institutions, particularly in defense and disaster prevention. The goal is to achieve solutions that visualize, analyze, and simulate real-world data in real time on digital twins, thereby supporting rapid and sophisticated decision-making.

Going forward, the Company will plan and propose solutions leveraging the strengths of both companies across a wide range of fields—including social infrastructure, energy, marine, and space—contributing to the resolution of societal challenges.
