On May 19, 2026, Geo Search Co., Ltd. concluded an "Agreement on Emergency Response Activities During Disasters" with Ota City, Tokyo.
In recent years, in addition to natural disasters such as earthquakes and heavy rains, aging sewage and road infrastructure are reaching their renewal periods. Consequently, there is an increasing demand for a shift toward systems that "prepare before it happens" rather than just mitigating damage "after it occurs." By leveraging our expertise and technology in 3D visualization of underground road spaces using ground-penetrating radar, we will strive to detect and prevent dangerous areas early, as well as provide rapid investigations and initial responses in the event of a disaster.
Under this agreement, we will conduct emergency inspections of sub-surface roads in the event of a disaster and report the results and damaged locations to Ota City. Through these efforts, we aim to prevent the spread of damage, strengthen support systems for disaster victims, and contribute to the enhancement of local disaster prevention capabilities.
[Purpose of the Agreement] The main purpose is to define the necessary matters regarding emergency inspections for the prevention of road subsidence during disasters.
[Content of the Agreement] (1) Provision of emergency inspections for sub-surface roads (2) Reporting of inspection results and damaged locations
[Date of Agreement Conclusion] Tuesday, May 19, 2026
