Deff Launches Accessories for Sony Xperia 1 VIII

Deff Inc. (President: Toru Araki, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) announces the release of accessories for Sony's smartphone, the Xperia™ 1 VIII. These include the 'Ultra Slim & Light Case DURO for Xperia 1 VIII,' an ultra-thin, lightweight case made from Kevlar® (aramid fiber) with 'Made for Xperia' certification, alongside a selection of glass screen protectors. Pre-sales begin on May 26, 2026, at the Deff Direct Store, with general sales scheduled for early June 2026.

In addition to the signature aramid fiber case 'DURO,' the lineup includes two glass screen protector series: 'ULTRA HARD GLASS' featuring Dragontrail® Pro, and 'PREMIUM GLASS' using the nano-crystallized glass-ceramic 'Nano-ceram™.' Ultra Slim & Light Aramid Fiber Case 'DURO'

The 'Ultra Slim & Light Case DURO' is Deff's carefully crafted smartphone case utilizing 'Kevlar®,' a high-strength aramid fiber used in bulletproof vests and aerospace applications. It carries the 'Made for Xperia' certification from Sony, ensuring optimal quality and perfect fit for the Xperia 1 VIII.

While offering the strength and texture unique to fiber materials, it maintains a slim profile that does not compromise the device's thinness or ergonomics. It naturally complements the Xperia 1 VIII’s elongated, sharp form for comfortable daily use.

'ULTRA HARD GLASS' utilizes AGC’s high-strength glass, 'Dragontrail® Pro,' offering industry-leading hardness to provide robust screen protection. The edges feature a significant R-processing (round edge) to ensure smooth touch and resist edge chipping. It is available in clear type for pristine display quality and nano-matte type for anti-glare and smooth gliding.

'PREMIUM GLASS' is the top-tier series featuring the nano-crystallized glass-ceramic 'Nano-ceram™.' It is available in clear and UV/blue-light cut types. With a thickness of 0.4mm, these provide a balanced combination of protection and responsiveness.
