Tribeck Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Goto; hereinafter referred to as Tribeck), through its research and analysis arm, the Tribeck Brand Strategy Institute, has announced the results of the "BtoB Site Survey 2026."

This survey evaluates the business contribution of B2B websites, targeting 196 leading companies. It was conducted through an internet questionnaire distributed to B2B target users extracted by product and service categories.

● Mitsubishi Electric (FA) Ranks 1st in BtoB Site Score for the 4th Consecutive Year

Mitsubishi Electric (FA) achieved the top spot for the fourth consecutive year with a BtoB Site Score of 56.6%. The BtoB Site Score is a ranking metric defined as the proportion of the target audience who accessed the site and had their needs satisfied. Following Mitsubishi Electric, Omron (Control Equipment) ranked second, and Keyence ranked third, with companies in the FA sector occupying the top positions as in previous years (Table 1).

[Table 1] BtoB Site Score Ranking <Top 20 Overall>

*The BtoB Site Score is calculated as "Access Rate × Needs Satisfaction Rate." Access Rate is the proportion of the target audience who accessed the site for business purposes within the past year, and Needs Satisfaction Rate is the proportion of those who accessed the site and had their needs met.

● Canon (For Corporate Customers) Tops in Needs Satisfaction Rate. Companies Effectively Disseminating Information in Areas with High AI Application Needs See Improved Ratings

Canon (For Corporate Customers) ranked first in Needs Satisfaction Rate (the proportion of site visitors whose needs were met). Ricoh, Fujifilm (For Business Customers), and Seiko Epson also saw improvements in their rankings, indicating an upward trend for the document solutions sector as a whole (Table 2).

Amidst labor shortages and the drive for work style reform, operational efficiency has become a critical management issue. Consequently, the demand for digital transformation utilizing AI, such as OCR, is growing. B2B sites of document solution companies have likely received high evaluations for clearly presenting concrete application scenarios and implementation effects in response to these needs.

Furthermore, companies in the information systems sector, including BIPROGY (5th) and Fujitsu (6th), improved their rankings. As AI adoption in business operations progresses, companies that extensively disseminate information related to AI services, solutions, and related topics may have been favorably assessed.

*Needs Satisfaction Rate is the proportion of individuals who accessed the site for business purposes within the past year and had their needs met.

● "AI Search" Shows Signs of Becoming Established as an Information Gathering Tool in B2B

This year's survey investigated the extent to which "AI search" is utilized for gathering product and service information for business purposes. Approximately 65% of respondents overall, and nearly 80% when gathering information related to information systems, reported already using AI search, confirming the widespread adoption of AI (Figure 1). In the future, addressing AIO (AI Optimization) such as improving searchability, structure, and reliability is expected to become a key factor in determining competitive advantage.

[Figure 1] Usage Status of AI Search in Information Gathering for Products and Services (B2B Domain)

Additionally, this survey identified the proportion of individuals who cited "AI search" as a trigger for site access. Higher figures were observed in fields where information exploration is expected based on problem-solving rather than just product features, and in areas where users have limited experience with the vendor. This suggests that AI search may function as an effective tool for exploring information based on challenges and in the phase prior to selecting a business partner.
