Berlin Philharmonic Recordings has announced a new recording of Vivaldi’s 'The Four Seasons' featuring Daishin Kashimoto, First Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Berlin Baroque Soloists. Recorded in 2025, this release commemorates the 300th anniversary of the work’s publication and the 30th anniversary of the ensemble.

◆ Berlin Baroque Soloists: A Return to Origins Violinist Raimar Orlowski notes that 'The Four Seasons' was the ensemble's first recording 30 years ago, a success attributed to co-founder Rainer Kussmaul. Founded in 1995, the ensemble pioneered the use of modern instruments for historically informed performance, a legacy continued under current Artistic Director Reinhard Goebel.
