Kirin Beer Announces Limited Release of 'The Stonewall Inn IPA' from Brooklyn Brewery

Kirin Beer Co., Ltd. (President: Hideki Horiguchi) is launching 'The Stonewall Inn IPA' from the iconic U.S. craft brewer Brooklyn Brewery (New York, USA; CEO: Eric Ottaway / President: Robin Ottaway).

The product will be released in limited quantities as 3L PET bottles for 'Tap Marché' starting May 25 (Mon) and as 350ml cans starting May 26 (Tue). Additionally, the 'Kirin Home Tap' membership-based draft beer service will begin deliveries on May 21 (Thu).

'The Stonewall Inn IPA' was born in the U.S. in 2017 as the official beer of 'Stonewall Inn,' a New York bar globally recognized as a symbol of the LGBTQ+ pride movement.

This product embodies the spirit of respecting diversity and embracing authenticity, values long championed by Brooklyn Brewery. Under the concept of an 'IPA that everyone can enjoy as themselves,' the beer delivers a session IPA style that maintains the floral aroma of hops while keeping bitterness in check for an easy-drinking experience. The packaging features a rainbow motif, symbolizing a world where diverse individuals shine together.

To commemorate the launch, Brooklyn Brewery Japan Co., Ltd. will participate for the first time in the 'We are “Rainbow”' campaign, organized by FamilyMart, which supports creating a society where everyone can thrive regardless of corporate boundaries. The campaign is held in collaboration with Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc., Cheerio Corporation, and Cleat Inc., all of whom support activities promoting diversity.
