Pets First Adoption Activities Under the philosophy of "Pets always come first," Pets First conducts adoption activities as a responsible initiative that considers the lifelong well-being of pets even before they are welcomed into a home. Pets that develop illnesses before sale are treated until they are fully recovered or in a condition where their health can be maintained through ongoing care, and are then handed over to foster owners who understand their medical condition. We also act as an agent to find new homes for customers who find it difficult to continue raising their pets due to unavoidable circumstances. Furthermore, as part of our CSR activity, the "Pets always come first project," we have been conducting adoption activities for rescue dogs and cats taken in from public health centers and animal welfare centers since 2013. Pets waiting for new families are cared for daily with love by our care staff at our care facility, "Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko." The facility has been holding regular adoption events since 2023 and has provided opportunities for over 30 pets to meet their new families so far.*1
