PeptiDream Inc. By welcoming management talent with extensive experience in key positions at global biopharmaceutical companies to our leadership team, we will further strengthen our management system and drive continuous growth and transformation into a global drug discovery and development company.

The new leadership team will cover our core strategic areas, aiming to enhance operational execution, further expand our pipeline, and achieve long-term growth.

The following three individuals have joined the Company as new Executive Vice Presidents:

Kayori Ohura

Kayori Ohura, Executive Vice President: Operations

- Gained experience in all aspects of clinical development at Kyowa Hakko Kirin USA, then led the oversight of large global organizations and the advancement of global clinical development at Bristol Myers Squibb US headquarters. Subsequently, transferred to the Japanese subsidiary, where she served as an Executive Officer overseeing Asia Clinical Development Operations and Commercial Operations.

- Served as CEO of the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT), promoting international public-private partnerships in global health.

- Led service and NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) sales and operations in Japan as Representative Director, President & General Manager of Labcorp Japan and Representative Director, President & General Manager of Illumina K.K.

- Also serves as an Outside Director of Sugi Holdings.

Jun Kawano

Jun Kawano, Executive Vice President: Corporate Strategy

- Led the globalization of pharmaceutical business and regional operational leadership in the US and Europe at Astellas Pharma, and served as Head of Global Business Development.

- Most recently served as Executive Officer, Japan Commercial Head, leading sales strategy and operations in the Japanese market.

- Proven leadership in corporate strategy, business development, commercial, and global/regional operations at global pharmaceutical companies.

- Holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Yukimichi Shikata

Yukimichi Shikata, Executive Vice President: People & Culture

- After a career as a researcher, including working as a Principal Scientist at the Neurology Unit London Research Laboratory at Eisai Co., Ltd., has extensive experience in human resources and talent development over many years.

- Most recently led the strengthening of organizational capabilities and global talent pool as General Manager of Global HR Strategy Promotion at Eisai Co., Ltd.

- Holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Medicine, Okayama University.

These three individuals possess extensive experience in a wide range of fields, from drug discovery to global pharmaceutical development and sales, and will contribute to the advancement of our diverse pipeline and global expansion.

To support our continuous growth and transformation into a global drug discovery and development company, we have been strengthening our organizational structure. In addition to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), we have newly established the Research Leadership Team (RLT) and Development Leadership Team (DLT) to enhance cross-departmental collaboration, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen decision-making and execution capabilities.

Furthermore, we have introduced a job title system of EVP, SVP, and VP, creating a highly scalable leadership structure that supports both the development of internal talent and the acquisition of external talent.

The participation of these three executives is part of this organizational reinforcement, further strengthening the new system and contributing to improved execution capabilities and sustainable growth in our expanding clinical pipeline.
