[As a City Hotel Walking with Aomori City] Hotel Aomori, as a city hotel located in the heart of Aomori City, has walked alongside the development of Aomori City for many years. 2025 marks the 400th anniversary of Aomori's port opening, and 2026 marks the 400th anniversary of Aomori's town development, both historical milestones. In 1625, the second lord of the Hirosaki domain, Nobuhira Tsugaru, obtained permission for shipping, which became the "trigger for opening the port." In 1626, the place name "Aomori" was born, and town development as a port town began. Hotel Aomori will continue to convey the charm of Aomori, nurtured over these 400 years of history, to domestic and international guests.
