The new models, 'PRM210BOA Static' (low-cut) and 'PRM220BOA Static' (mid-cut), are premium additions to the 'Premium High Verde' series.

Both products feature the advanced 'BOA® PerformFit™ Wrap' design, evolved from the BOA® Fit System, offering an innovative structure that wraps the midfoot area with a broad surface. This design enhances heel hold and overall shoe-foot integration. The dial allows precise micro-adjustments of fit, and lifting the dial quickly releases tension, enabling smooth donning and doffing, as well as easy on-the-job re-tightening. In addition to standard safety features, these shoes meet JIS T8103 standards for static-control footwear (ED-P/C2/CⅠ/S/P1/F2), making them suitable for manufacturing, construction, logistics, aviation, and other industries requiring electrostatic discharge protection.

Development Background: Addressing 'Falls,' the Most Common Workplace Injury

According to the 'Workplace Accident Statistics for Reiwa 7' released by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on May 27, 2026, there were 135,333 workers in Japan who sustained injuries requiring four or more days off work in 2025. Among these, 'falls' accounted for 37,195 cases—the highest number by incident type, representing approximately 27.5% of all accidents.

To protect workers, it is essential not only to improve slip resistance but also to enhance foot-shoe integration, long-term wear comfort, and ease of adjustment and removal.
