Yanmar Agri Releases "YR0 Series" Rice Transplanter for Reduced Labor and Improved Efficiency

Yanmar Agri Co., Ltd., a group company of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., will launch the YR06 and YR08 rice transplanters on October 1, 2026 (Thursday). These models leverage Yanmar's proprietary "Minae" (dense seeding) technology and ICT to reduce operational burden while achieving high-precision, efficient transplanting.

In recent years, the agricultural industry has faced severe labor shortages due to an aging workforce, coupled with the expansion of farm sizes through land consolidation. This has driven high demand among large-scale farmers and agricultural corporations for machinery that contributes to labor saving and operational efficiency.

The YR0 series rice transplanters contribute to labor and cost reduction by using Yanmar's "Minae" technology, which reduces the number of seedling trays by up to one-third, thereby cutting material costs and operational time. Furthermore, various ICT-based assist functions (straight-line assist, seedling rate assist, fertilization rate assist, and sensitivity assist) reduce the operational burden, enabling stable, high-precision transplanting regardless of the operator's experience. Improved color displays and reverser levers further enhance operability and comfort, mitigating fatigue during long work hours.

2. High-Power Diesel Engine with Improved Performance in Wet Paddies Equipped with the 23.4PS "3TNV76" high-power diesel engine. The proprietary "HMT" transmission combines the benefits of both mechanical and HST systems, allowing for efficient power transfer and easy operation.

3. RTK Upgrade Kit for High-Precision Operations and Automated Turning (Dealer Option for G-spec) When installed on G-spec models, the RTK-GNSS system achieves a precision of ±2–3 cm. It includes a turning assist feature that automates alignment during turns, significantly reducing operator burden.
