The free GPS stamp rally app 'Nippon Shiro Meguri,' planned and operated by UM Succeed Co., Ltd. and boasting approximately 380,000 members, is running a collaboration campaign with Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) titled 'Toyotomi Shinkansen: Road to Unification.' In Chapter 1, which ended in late March 2026, an estimated 20,000 participants toured the Aichi and Gifu areas, and approximately 10,000 people used the Shinkansen specifically for this campaign. Currently, Chapter 2 (April 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026) is underway, shifting the stage to the Shiga and Kyoto areas, with the final Chapter 3 scheduled to start on October 1, 2026. 'Toyotomi Shinkansen: Road to Unification' is a grand GPS stamp rally campaign held over more than a year, themed around the Toyotomi brothers' path to unification. The new mission experience of riding the Tokaido Shinkansen to recruit limited-edition characters has captured users' hearts and strongly driven wide-area tourism. As the results show, the user base of 'Nippon Shiro Meguri' has high motivation for history, culture, and travel, with the biggest feature being that it involves clear 'movement' and 'consumption.' We have a track record of working with over 50 municipalities and organizations, and digital stamp rallies utilizing regional resources have become powerful tools for promoting regional tourism and overnight stays.
