Rescue Insurance to Offer "Smartphone Screen Crack Insurance" for Glass Films Sold by NTT Docomo

Rescue Insurance Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takashi Sugimoto; hereinafter referred to as "our company") will provide "Smartphone Screen Crack Insurance" that is attached to the glass films for smartphones sold by NTT Docomo Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Docomo") at Docomo shops nationwide and the Docomo Online Shop.

This insurance covers up to a maximum of ¥10,000 (tax included) per incident for repair or replacement costs when the screen of a smartphone with the applicable glass film attached is damaged.

While smartphones have become essential infrastructure for daily life, screen cracks due to drops and other accidents are common troubles for many customers. By providing this insurance attached to the applicable glass films sold by Docomo, we aim to reduce the financial burden on customers in the event of a screen crack and support the creation of an environment where smartphones can be used with greater peace of mind.

Customers become eligible for "Smartphone Screen Crack Insurance" by purchasing the applicable glass film. There is no separate application procedure or insurance premium burden for the customer.

In the event that the screen of the smartphone body with the applicable glass film attached is damaged, we will pay an insurance benefit of up to ¥10,000 (tax included) per incident for repair or replacement costs. The coverage period is one year from the date of purchase of this product.
