The Institute of Advanced Technology Innovation and the Osaka Municipal Abeno Disaster Prevention Center are now accepting applications for joint research partners, sponsors, diffusion partners, VR/AI content production and sales collaboration partners, presentation speaking companies/organizations, as well as participants for the new 'Disaster Volunteer System' in preparation for the 'Future Disaster Prevention Collaborative Lab Kickoff' to be held on May 28.

This call for applications aims not merely to limit disaster prevention to awareness campaigns, but to link it to the concrete development of products and services—such as administrative services, disaster-related equipment, educational materials, videos, 2D tags, characters, terminals, app integrations, and VR/AI content—and the implementation of public interest projects.

The presentations are not intended as 'company introductions' but as a format for sharing themes that applicants wish to research and verify jointly at the Future Disaster Prevention Collaborative Lab. Presentation Topics: 1. Disaster prevention issues you want to solve 2. Equipment, products, services, and technology you can provide 3. What you want to test as joint research/PoC 4. Necessary partners and collaborators

Call 6: Disaster Volunteer System Participants The Future Disaster Prevention Collaborative Lab will launch a new 'Disaster Volunteer System.' This system is a mechanism for individuals and corporations that promotes the diffusion of disaster prevention measures and aims to cultivate personnel responsible for event operation assistance, filming, educational material distribution, survey analysis, 2D tag diffusion support, and corporate/regional disaster prevention awareness. Expected Activities: Reception, guidance, and operational assistance during events Filming assistance for evacuation drills, fire drills, and local events Assistance in producing disaster prevention videos using generative AI Surveys and analyses of questionnaires, regional issues, shelter issues, etc. Support for the diffusion of digital disaster prevention materials Support for the diffusion of 2D tags and emergency tags Disaster prevention awareness assistance for companies, schools, and local communities In the future, we will also consider establishing a qualification system combining basic training, practical participation, and certification exams.
