Shimane Prefecture [Shinjiko Shijimi Soy Sauce Caramel Milk Pudding] 195 yen - Supermarket Hello
We made 'Milk Pudding' using local Shimane 'Kisuki Pasteurized Milk', which has the gentle sweetness and flavor of raw milk through low-temperature pasteurization, and poured a special caramel sauce over it. Actually, this caramel sauce adds the umami and richness of 'Shijimi Soy Sauce', made with dashi from Shinjiko's Yamato freshwater clams and long-aged whole soybean soy sauce. The sweet and salty taste enhances the milk pudding.

Shimane Prefecture [Matsue Pudding] 430 yen - Supermarket Hello
Matcha pudding using broad-leaved matcha from 'Nakamura Chaho' in Matsue marries with mango pudding. White chocolate sauce is hidden inside the pudding. The two-layer color, reproducing the sunset over beautiful Lake Shinji in Matsue with mango pudding and the green of 'Yomegasima' with matcha pudding, also expresses the contrast between sweet and astringent tastes. It seems likely to become a new specialty of Matsue, one of Japan's three major tea regions.
