The New Japan Automobile Promotion Association (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Marina Inada) is pleased to support 'AMI & LEGENDS EAST 2026' to rediscover the original appeal of custom cars and promote their value as a world-class culture. This event brings together four JDM legendary shops—RE Amemiya, VeilSide, TOP SECRET, and Obayashi Factory—aiming to foster a new community and promote exchange through a competitive exhibition where each shop's style sparks inspiration.

Background of the Event

The background of this event lies in the spirit of charity found in Western car culture: 'Cars nurture people and become a force that moves lives.' This project aligns this spirit with Japanese tuning culture. The organizer, NPO Option Land International Exchange Association, has promoted the development of Japanese tuning culture and international exchange for many years, with a track record of hosting tuning-focused events like the 'Exciting Car Showdown.' The New Japan Automobile Promotion Association also aims to realize 'Cultural Inheritance, Youth Development, and Social Contribution' together with the four legends.

About the Event Name: ~AMI & LEGENDS~

The 'AMI' in the event name means 'friend' in French, symbolizing a future where legends, following shops, and fans connect across generations and positions to foster friendship and culture.

Location: Kiramesse Numazu (1-1-4 Otemachi, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture; 3-min walk from JR Numazu Station North Exit. 15-min from Numazu IC.) Parking: East Parking (446 spaces), West Parking (159 spaces) at 50 yen per 30 minutes. Date & Time: Sunday, July 26, 2026 Admission: 1,000 yen (Same-day tickets only) Exhibition Fee: 30,000–40,000 yen Special Sponsorship: 150,000 yen (Recruiting special sponsors. Non-car exhibitions/PR booths are available for 4 companies only.)

Programs & Contents

01: Stage of the Future The cars on display will only be those 'truly recognized' by the four shops. They will be judged on the understanding of style, the passion in the build, and the soul inherent in the car. Talk shows and signing sessions by the legends will also be held in each exhibition area.

02: Legend Style Certification To honor the passion of visitors, legends will judge cars based on images and specs brought by the owners. Recognized cars will receive a STYLE Certificate and a limited edition sticker with a serial number.

03: Original Item Sales Visitors can purchase items from legend and exhibitor shops. Limited edition collaboration T-shirts with legend names will also be available, creating special value only found at the venue.

04: Charity Initiatives In collaboration with legend shops, charity activities will be conducted to elevate car culture to a 'culture that contributes to society.' Fees from the 'Legend Style Certification' will be used as a fund.

05: Tune Your Future Scholarship A scholarship program for youth to 'tune' their own futures. It supports admission fees for auto mechanic schools, with a framework being planned where repayment is waived if the graduate is employed at a tuning shop.
