We are pleased to announce the upcoming "Negishi Uma Fes ~Connecting History and Future~," an event that will take place at Negishi Forest Park, home to the former Negishi Racecourse Grandstand. This festival will feature hands-on content related to horse culture, historical guided tours by experts, panel exhibitions, and discussions on the theme of future town development. The primary objective is to share the historical value and charm of the former Negishi Racecourse Grandstand with citizens, fostering anticipation and momentum towards its public opening and the Horse Museum's renewal in 2029. Through this project, we aim to create an opportunity to rediscover Yokohama's unique cultural resource of horse culture through "learning, experience, and dialogue," taking into account the historical background of the Negishi area, which has long been isolated from citizens. We will also explore the possibilities for sustainable preservation and utilization of this historical building. We kindly request your media coverage.
