The Industrial Care Manager Association (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yumiko Ozaki) has officially launched its full-scale activities. The association aims to create a world where it is standard for companies to have professionals whom employees can consult about caregiving with peace of mind. Main activities include surveys on business caregivers, operating education and certification systems for industrial care managers, disseminating information on preventing caregiving-related turnover, and providing insights from the perspectives of human capital management, health management, and ESG.

On June 10, 2026, the association began recruiting for the certification program of 'Business Care Managers,' professionals who promote the balance between work and caregiving in companies.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the number of employees balancing work and caregiving is expected to reach approximately 3.18 million by 2030, with economic losses from turnover and decreased productivity estimated at approximately 9 trillion yen.

To understand the reality and needs of caregiving in companies, the association will conduct a 'Corporate Caregiving Reality and Needs Survey.' Companies interested in participating should apply via the official website (https://sangyo-care.or.jp/).

Business Care Managers utilize the expertise of certified care managers to support employees acting as business caregivers. They function as a bridge within the company, assessing individual caregiving situations and connecting them with regional services and corporate systems.

Corporate Seminar: 'The Frontline of Supporting Work and Caregiving Balance' Date/Time: Monday, June 29, 2026, 15:00-17:00 / Venue: Otemachi / Capacity: 20 companies (up to 3 people per company).
