The Kobe Art Promotion Association will hold the contemporary art fair "KOBE ART MARCHÉ 2026" at the Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel for three days from May 22 (Friday) to 24 (Sunday), 2026. This 17th edition follows the European style of hotel-type art fairs, where exhibitors use hotel rooms to display and sell their work—a rare format in Japan. This setting allows visitors to imagine art in a domestic environment, making it accessible even for first-time buyers. We invite you to encounter one-of-a-kind artworks amidst the beautiful scenery of Kobe.

Three Exhibition Sections "KOBE ART MARCHÉ 2026" is composed of three major sections to create diverse encounters with art.

Galleries Featuring 43 galleries from across the country, this section showcases top artists' works. Some works are already available for early purchase online. Collaboration Focusing on the connection with the local community in Kobe, this section features unique projects. This year, "Artist in Residence KOBE (AiRK)" will hold an exhibition in room [701], introducing its history and activities as a residence base for domestic and international artists in Kitano, Kobe. Award To support the next generation, we held the 11th "Artist meets Art Fair." This year, we also launched the inaugural "AI ART meets Art Fair" for works incorporating AI technology. Please look forward to these contemporary expressions.
