[JAPAN OUTDOOR GEAR SUMMIT 2026] Announcement of Event Dates and Exhibitor Applications [Niigata Outdoor Association]

The Niigata Outdoor Association (Secretariat: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; Representative Director: Yosuke Shichiku) will hold the BtoB outdoor industry trade show 'JAPAN OUTDOOR GEAR SUMMIT 2026' (JOGS 2026) for two days on Wednesday, October 14, and Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Tsubame-Sanjo Regional Industries Promotion Center Messepia 1F (Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture).

In the previous 2025 event, 24 companies from within and outside the prefecture exhibited, and over 100 buyers, distributors, and media representatives from across the country attended. In this second edition, we aim to create new business flows for the outdoor industry, starting from the manufacturing hub of Tsubame-Sanjo.

[Features of JOGS] 1. The only invitation-only outdoor BtoB event held in the manufacturing hub of Tsubame-Sanjo. Leading outdoor gear brands from the Tsubame-Sanjo region are scheduled to gather. 2. A format specialized for direct negotiations between buyers and exhibitors. We provide a business environment focused on negotiations and market development. 3. Collaboration with Tsubame-Sanjo manufacturing site tours. Guided tours of exhibitor factories and local inspections may be available before and after the event (currently under adjustment).

[2025 Event Results] ■ Exhibitors: CAPTAIN STAG, UNIFLAME, snow peak, belmont, Igarashi Hamono, SSCamp!, Sanjo Special Casting, PTYGRACE OUTDOOR GEAR, BUNDOK, LALPHA, 9w., Babacho Hardware, Yamabito, KAKURI, KOGU (Shimomura Kihan), OUTSIDE IN, JEJ Astage, katomotor, THE NORTH FACE, Bonito Paddles, Swing Star Paddle Desperado, MRS, WERNER PADDLES, Sanjo City. ■ Attendance: Over 100 retailers, wholesalers, mass retailers, and manufacturers from across the country. ■ Media Coverage: 12 national newspapers, trade journals, and web media outlets.

[New Developments for 2026] Starting this year, we have expanded the exhibitor quota to allow non-member companies of the Niigata Outdoor Association to participate. We warmly welcome businesses with ties to the Tsubame-Sanjo region and brands interested in the outdoor industry. Additionally, to accommodate more flexible booth configurations, we have introduced a new '6m x 6m' size.
