Establishment of the Women's Health Promotion City Consortium

Luvtelli Tokyo & New York is a project launched in the spring of 2009 by representative Momo Hosokawa to popularize preventive medicine in Japan. Currently, 13 types of medical professionals, including doctors and registered dietitians, as well as doctors and researchers, are affiliated with the organization. Within preventive medicine, they focus on "maternal and child health"—an area with severe challenges but limited national budget—and are working to raise the baseline of health for the next generation through health support for women before, during, and after pregnancy.
