The World Sport Stacking Association Japan (WSSA-JAPAN) is pleased to announce that Yasunori Sawada, representative of Sawada Sports Club (located in Nerima Ward, Tokyo), has completed the 'Certified Child Supporter Training Course' and obtained the qualification. In recent years, the environment surrounding children has changed significantly, increasing the importance of fostering not only physical growth but also emotional development, social skills, and the ability to think and act independently. This training course provided instructors and educators with knowledge and practical skills in child understanding, age-appropriate interaction, safety management, communication support, fostering non-cognitive skills, and growth support through play. It is rare for sports coaches to obtain qualifications in the childcare and child support field. Mr. Sawada pursued this certification to create a better coaching environment by deepening his understanding of child development and psychology. While there are many opportunities to learn sports techniques, systematic learning of child development from a childcare perspective is limited. This achievement represents a unique nationwide effort to support children's growth from both sports and childcare perspectives.
