YOKU MOKU MUSEUM (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Director: Yoko Fujinawa) will re-release its popular museum-exclusive mignardise "Vallauris," which is well-received every spring and summer, starting March 31st, 2026 (Tuesday) at the "Café Vallauris" attached to the museum for a limited time. *Café visits are also possible without museum entry. "Vallauris" is a museum-exclusive mignardise named after Vallauris, a town in the South of France where Pablo Picasso was deeply immersed in ceramic creation. Along with its beautiful appearance, reminiscent of an art piece, you can enjoy the aroma and texture of ingredients that evoke the South of France. After appreciating the exhibition, you can savor its afterglow with all five senses while reflecting on the creative time and worldview that Picasso poured his passion into ceramic production. Inspired by "Calisson," a regional confection popular in and around Vallauris in the South of France, this mignardise is finished with a flavor that evokes the afterglow of creation, accented with the aroma of herbs and citrus. It features a base of fragrant almond joconde sponge, layered with nougat mousse studded with concentrated dried fruits, and topped with apricot preserved in white wine, seasoned with rosemary and pink pepper. The entire confection is enveloped in a refreshing lemon mousse, with the surface artistically decorated like a canvas using apricot, redcurrant, and cassis.

Mignardise Set: 1,500 yen (tax included) The mignardise can be enjoyed individually, or as part of a set with a drink. You can choose from coffee (HOT, ICE), tea (HOT, ICE), or juice for your drink.
