Sanyo Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masanobu Shintani; hereinafter "Sanyo Trading") participated in an EV bus test ride event hosted by Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. in Oita City, Oita Prefecture.

EV buses are environmentally friendly as they emit no exhaust gases such as CO2, and are characterized by a smooth ride with low noise and vibration. At the test ride event, Alpha Bus's large bus E-CITY L10 and small bus E-CITY L6 were operated on public roads, allowing officials from local governments and transportation operators in Oita Prefecture to take test rides. Driving experiences were also offered, allowing participants to feel the actual driving performance and steering. Additionally, a maintenance briefing was held to deepen understanding of the structure and mechanisms of EV buses.

Sanyo Trading will continue to focus on promoting the普及 of environmentally friendly EVs and contribute to solving social issues.
