[Chuo City, Yamanashi] Announcement of the 2nd Nordisk Mountain Trail in YAMANASHI CHUO, a Trail Running Event Enjoyed with Nature

Chuo City in Yamanashi Prefecture (Mayor Satoshi Mochizuki) will hold the 2nd Nordisk Mountain Trail in YAMANASHI CHUO on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This trail running event utilizes the city's rich natural resources, including mountains, hills, and satoyama. The course starts and ends at YSKe-com Silk Park in Chuo City, running through Taira Mountain and the Yamanokami Senbonzakura cherry blossom trees, offering spectacular views of Mount Yatsugatake and Mount Kitadake. Participants can choose between two courses: a challenging Long Course (approx. 25km) and a Short Course (approx. 12km) rich in elevation changes. After the race, runners can enjoy delicious 'Tomato Yakisoba' made with ripe tomatoes from Chuo City and Koshu Fujizakura Pork. Entry applications are open until August 23rd. Join us and experience the charm of Chuo City's satoyama.
