Marubeni IT Solutions Launches 'LogBridge for Netskope' to Locally Save Netskope Logs

Marubeni IT Solutions, part of the Advanced Integration Segment of the Marubeni I-DIGIO Group, has begun offering 'LogBridge for Netskope,' a client software for enterprises using the SASE solution 'Netskope.' The software retrieves Netskope event logs via API and enables backup storage in a local environment.

The need to store security logs for long periods in preparation for audits and incident investigations is increasing. However, long-term cloud log storage options tend to increase costs, and aggregating them into systems like SIEM also incurs additional license and storage fees. Consequently, companies often struggle to allocate sufficient budgets to 'logs kept just in case.'

LogBridge for Netskope utilizes the 'REST API v2' provided by Netskope to extract various event logs (application, network, alert, etc.). The tool packages complex API integration processes, allowing for high-level API integration through intuitive settings without the need for specialized knowledge. Users can save logs locally by simply specifying the desired period and type of logs.

Furthermore, it reduces the man-hours required for companies to develop and maintain API integrations themselves. It allows for the easy construction of a backup system to low-cost local storage or file servers, without relying on expensive long-term cloud storage options.
