Second Annual Asadesu Fes Held Successfully!

KBC TV's morning program, 'Asadesu. KBC,' celebrated its 25th anniversary this spring. To express direct gratitude to its viewers, the program hosted the second 'Asadesu Fes' (#Asafes) on Saturday, May 23rd.

This year's event was powered up with the theme of 'connecting.' In addition to fostering connections between the cast and viewers, the event featured stage performances and interactive planning that allowed fans of 'Asadesu. KBC' to connect and enjoy themselves, drawing approximately 50,000 visitors throughout the day.

Singing and Dancing to the 25th Anniversary Theme Song!

Attendees enthusiastically sang and danced to the theme song 'Yoka Yoka Special Day,' created in collaboration with viewers for the 25th anniversary. The song was performed by Ayumi, who was chosen through an audition, and audience members joined the program regulars Naoko Hara and Nanako Yamashita in a choreographed dance, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

Special Guests Joined the Fun!

At the 'Geino Osshoi!' stage, special guests including voice actor Daisuke Namikawa and actor/talent Naoki Fujii appeared. Additionally, Toshiya Miyata (Miyacchi) of Kis-My-Ft2, a regular on Tuesdays, made a surprise appearance for the second year in a row, drawing huge cheers from fans.

Career Experiences: 'Oshigoto Zukan Adventure' Draws Crowds

The popular project 'Oshigoto Zukan Adventure' was expanded throughout the JR Kyushu Hall. Children enjoyed experiencing various professions, such as announcer, face painter, and sound/lighting technician for the JR Kyushu Hall. On the rooftop, the 'Asadesu. Zoo' featured animal interaction experiences, including a veterinarian session with Dr. Yukari and 'Snake Touch.' Combined, over 4,000 people participated in these career experiences.

Merchandise and Food Booths Proved Popular!

Original merchandise, including new items like 'Wrap Towels' and 'MOKU Towels,' were sold and well-received. 'Hacchan-do,' which developed a collaboration takoyaki with the program, sold freshly made takoyaki from a yellow food truck. The cast participated as salespeople, successfully selling out all 840 packs!

Opportunities for Cast-Viewer Interaction

Many attendees took advantage of the interaction booths. Approximately 1,500 people participated in photo sessions, and 140 groups joined the commercial shooting sessions, providing a rare opportunity for fans and cast members to converse directly.

Thank You for Supporting the KBC Water and Green Fund

As part of the 30th 'Water and Green Campaign,' the event featured an exhibition on the history of 'Asadesu' and a fundraising activity. Proceeds from official merchandise sales will be donated to the 'KBC Water and Green Fund' to help preserve cherry blossoms in the area.
