Kyushu Sanko Group has announced additional information regarding the collaboration project 'Natsume's Book of Friends in Kumamoto 2026: Hitoyoshi & Kuma.' As a joint project with the 'Kumamoto Destination Campaign 2026,' details for an experiential event touring the Hitoyoshi-Kuma area, which served as the model for the anime, have been finalized. Key initiatives include an 'Original Card Rally' visiting 11 locations in the area. Visitors can receive a limited character card by spending 1,000 yen or more (including tax) at each spot, and those who collect all 11 types will be presented with an 'Original Group Card' at SAKURAMACHI Kumamoto. Additionally, six major bus stops in the Hitoyoshi-Kuma area will be decorated with 'Natsume's Book of Friends' designs for a limited time. The project aims to promote tourism by encouraging fans to visit the area and enjoy the world of the work while touring the region.
