Kyoto Prefecture is holding internships where participants can observe and experience the sites of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries to promote interest in these industries and lead to future employment.

We are conducting internships that allow for a broad, cross-disciplinary experience, as well as specialized internships focused on forestry, livestock farming, and fisheries.

〇 Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Experience Tour in Kyoto (Cross-disciplinary) - Period: July 22 (Wed) – July 24 (Fri), 2026 - Locations: Kyotanabe, Ayabe, Fukuchiyama, Ine, Miyazu, etc. - Content: 2 nights/3 days visiting and experiencing agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sites. - Target: High school and university students interested in the prefecture’s agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. - Capacity: 10 people.

〇 Forestry Charm Experience (Specialized: Forestry) - Period: August 4 (Tue) – August 7 (Fri), 2026 - Location: Kyotamba - Content: 3 nights/4 days experiencing forestry colleges, forestry sites, and local charms. - Target: High school/university students and working adults (generally under 40) interested in forestry work in the prefecture. - Capacity: 20 people.

〇 Livestock Experience Tour: "Get to Know Kyoto's Livestock Industry in 3 Nights/4 Days" (Specialized: Livestock) - Period: (1) Aug 4 – Aug 7, (2) Aug 18 – Aug 21, 2026 - Locations: Kameoka, Nantan, Kyotamba, Ayabe, Kyotango - Content: 3 nights/4 days of interaction with livestock farmers, milking experience, livestock processing experience, etc. - Target: High school/university students and working adults (generally under 40) interested in livestock work in the prefecture. - Capacity: 5 people per session.

〇 Fisheries Internship (Specialized: Fisheries) - Period: August 3 (Mon) – August 7 (Fri), 2026 - Location: Northern coastal region of Kyoto Prefecture - Content: 4 nights/5 days of authentic fishing experience and interaction with fishermen to experience the charm of the fisheries industry and fishing villages. - Target: High school/university students and working adults (generally under 40) interested in fisheries work in the prefecture.
