This program provides comprehensive support for initiatives in seafood processing and distribution that involve collaboration among supply chain stakeholders—including production, processing, distribution, and sales—aimed at overcoming challenges such as shortages in raw materials, labor, transportation capacity, and the need for improved management capabilities.

Program Overview and Eligibility Under this program, subsidies are provided for plans based on solutions developed by collaborative councils formed by two or more entities along the supply chain, such as fishermen, aquaculture operators, distributors, and processors.
Examples of Initiatives: - Raw material conversion to fish species with better availability to address shortages. - Productivity improvements through the introduction of advanced technologies like ICT and DX. - Resolving labor shortages through distribution efficiency, freshness-preservation technology, and work automation. - Other initiatives contributing to the realization of a sustainable seafood processing and distribution industry.
Eligible Expenses 1. Collaborative Council Subsidy Expenses: Expenses for examining business plans and professional consulting for management guidance, etc. (fixed amount, up to 4 million yen). 2. Processing/Distribution Collaboration Plan Startup Support Expenses: Expenses necessary for executing practical initiatives, such as market research, promotion, training, and equipment acquisition (subsidy rate within 1/2).
