The Soil Foundation, in partnership with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), has concluded the second round of its 'SoilxMUFG' grant program, aimed at supporting non-profit startups dedicated to solving social issues. Out of 270 applicants, 10 organizations were selected after a rigorous review process. Each organization will receive a grant of 3 million yen. Of the total 30 million yen, 20 million yen is provided through a donation from MUFG. The selected organizations include NPO AYA, ELAB, Colorbath, SALASUSU, SEAWALL CLUB, Spesapo, Team Adaptation, Dots for Inc., Japan Car Sharing Association, and the Association for Connecting Lives in Mozambique. These groups are engaged in diverse fields such as medical care for children, educational programs, environmental sustainability, and regional revitalization. Soil Foundation plans to continue expanding its ecosystem for supporting non-profit startups and empowering social entrepreneurs.
